DISSEMINATION EVENT OF TRANSNATIONAL JOINT MASTER PROGRAM IN RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES ADRION TRAINEE

The event of the ADRION TRAINEE project for the presentation of the planned Transnational Joint Master Program in Renewable Energy Sources coordinated by the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Patras was completed with great success, on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras.

At the event, the curriculum of the Master's Program was presented, while important speeches were given from the partners of the project. The duration of the Transnational Master's Program will be two years with the last semester being dedicated to practical training and the writing of a diploma thesis. The courses that will be taught in the postgraduate program of Renewable Energy Sources have chemical, biological, geological, ecological, engineering and techno-economic directions. The Master's Program is expected to start in Academic Year 2024-25.

Students and interested individuals from public and private bodies, related to Renewable Energy Sources issues, had the opportunity to attend the speeches.

The consortium of the project comes from six countries: Greece, Croatia, Italy, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia. The coordinator of the project is the University of Patras - Department of Chemical Engineering and the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, IUAV University of Venice, University of Zagreb - School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Algebra University College - Croatia, University of Novi Sad - School of Technical Science, the International University of Sarajevo, the University of Tirana and three companies Green Technologies Ltd. - Patras Greece, Energo-data - Croatia and Solar Info Community srl. - Italy.

The project is funded by the INTERREG V-B Adriatic-Ionian ADRION Program 2014-2020 Extraordinary Fifth call for proposals – Priority Axes 1 and 2.
